Just watched Clash of the Titans. Here are some things I learned while watching a half man/half god take down a series of large, scary mythical creatures before slapping Hades back to the underworld:
1. Clash of the Titans is nothing like Remember the Titans.
2. Even when your dad is a god, sons don’t take their help when they offer it.
3. Gods aren’t nice.
4. When a god gives you powers and you get your hand cut off, your dripping blood turns into GIANT SCORPIONS. What?!?!
5. Seriously, this movie got bad reviews and I enjoyed it. A lot of action, kept me interested, a nice little happy ending. Not a movie I want to buy and watch over and over again, but had I gone and seen it in theaters, I would have been content. It is sad how critics these days expect to see something new and original each time they watch a flick. It doesn’t happen that way. If it’s a comedy and it makes you laugh, what more can you ask for? Netflix sent me this action/adventure, and that is exactly what I received.
