After another rejection letter from the community garden, Bob is determined to do anything to work out a deal with Cynthia — the garden master. Their compromise: her son, Logan — Louise’s sworn enemy — will work in the restaurant in order to write an essay for a college prep summer program.
While Bob spends time with his babies (his plants), Louise vs. Logan and Linda vs. Cynthia battle to the death in the restaurant. In the end, Bob is left with his own Sophie’s Choice: keep his garden plot, or his children. The role of a parent is ultimately one of sacrifice.
Before we get to the Burger of the Day, let’s get to the episode rundown:

Burger of the Day: The Garden of Eden

Review
The Garden of Eden Burger is an 80/20 patty topped with caramelized onions, grilled green apple slices, and a cinnamon-ginger-maple syrup yogurt sauce. As always, we rolled with a brioche bun to bring this bad boy together.
The yogurt sauce is easy to make, but doesn’t add the kick I expected it to — thought I’d get a mouthful of sweet-and-sour flavors. Instead, the taste of the sauce when combined with the burger is more on the yogurt end of the spectrum. Future audible: Cut the 1 cup of yogurt by a quarter, or third.
The caramelized onions are great — I’ll never talk badly about caramelized onions. The apple slices lose most of their flavor on the grill. Second audible: Don’t grill the apple slices. In the end, the burger’s main flavor outside of the delicious patty is the caramelized onions. A lot of extra fuss, without the payoff in the end.
But, this burger has potential. And that potential is to be a vibrant, sweet, and juicy burger with fresh flavor. Is this burger truly paradise? No. Would you feed it to your arch nemesis Logan or his mom Cynthia? No, because they are horrible people.
With that in mind, 3.5 seems like a solid rating.
