While I can’t claim to know how a real bloated slime pod tastes, I have had some experience with Cookie’s version.
Slime pods are definitely for an acquired — or just the right — taste. The slime is interesting. Its ingredients make for a nuanced and complex taste. It is a thicker slime than you’d expect, which combined with the pod (gnocchi) makes for a dish that is on the heavy side.
But I mean, that makes a lot of sense in a way, doesn’t it? Just look at this guy, he loves him some slime pods, am I right?
This course could be best served with something light, or acidic. Adding some lemon — or going heavier on the lime juice — could help spruce up this meal.
Because, let’s be honest: If it is considered a main part of the Hutt’s diet, we really should tread lightly.
